Real Japanese Garden
In the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Llanarthne, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Created by Masao Fukuhara, Lecturer in Design, Osaka University as an exhibit in the 2001 Chelsea Flower Show when it won a gold. There is some really clever, interesting stone work on the garden paths and walls and an interesting rill winding its way down the main path - great for jumping over! The whole site is well worth a visit. |

Royal Horticultural Society (RHS)
Gardens at Wisley Surrey, Rosemoor North Devon, Hyde Hall Essex, Harlow Carr North Yorkshire, details of its main gardens plus a plant finder and database which will also give specialist suppliers in whatever geographical area you require. Wisley now contains a re-designed Japanese Garden and collection of bonsai gifted by Peter and Dawn Chan in a stunning setting. |
